Presentations at the 25th International Conference on Magnet Technology Available Online
Amsterdam, August 27, 2017 - The MT25 conference is the most important international forum addressing all aspects of magnet research, development, construction, testing, and operation. The EcoSwing collaboration was represented extremely well in scientific presentations. Following the presentation links below you can retrieve a copy of the slides.
Jürgen Kellers (ECO 5 GmbH) was a plenary speaker to present on “Development of a Superconductive Wind Power Generator within the EcoSwing Project” .
Markus Bauer (THEVA Dünnschichttechnik GmbH) even had two talks. First an invited presentation covering “HTS field coils with robust design for a superconducting wind turbine generator” . Then he updated the audience on superconductor progress is his presentation “High performance coated conductors wire for magnet applications ” .
Anne Bergen (University of Twente) showed results on the “Self-heating effect in HTS coils” and by this provided useful insight into the stability regime of HTS coils.
